About
Palm Springs Pride is a yearly Pride weekend in downtown Palm Springs in early November, around Veterans Day. It has a two-day festival on Palm Canyon Drive and in the Arenas District, a 5K run and walk, and a Sunday morning parade down Palm Canyon Drive.
Parade
Sunday 8 November 2026
The parade steps off at 10 a.m. at Tachevah Drive and Palm Canyon Drive in the Uptown Design District and goes south through downtown to the festival at Amado Road.
Festival
The festival runs November 7 and 8 from 11 a.m. along Palm Canyon Drive, with Pride weekend events from November 6. The theme is 'Be Included'.
History
It began in 1986 as 'Sizzle', a dinner and variety show marking the Stonewall Uprising. The first parade was held in 1992, the event moved to Veterans Day weekend in 1995, and the organization incorporated as Greater Palm Springs Pride in 1998.
